Implemented across 33 countries, the O3 program stands as the largest comprehensive sexuality education (CSE) program in sub-Saharan Africa supporting delivery of good quality school-based CSE that empowers adolescents and young people and builds agency, while developing the skills, knowledge, attitudes, and competencies required for preventing HIV, reducing early and unintended pregnancies, and eliminating gender-based violence . The five year programme will conclude in June 2023 and a final evaluation is underway, which will inform the conception of the next phase of the programme (Phase 2), which is expected to run from July 2023 to July 2027.
